Cookie Policy

1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. It can be used to remember preferences, analyse traffic, or deliver targeted advertising. localStorage is a similar technology that stores data in your browser.
2. What we use
This website uses no audience-measurement or advertising cookies, and therefore shows no consent banner. It only uses strictly functional local storage and cookies strictly necessary for payment:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| soleado-booking | localStorage | Remembers your dates and guest count so they aren't lost while browsing | Session / until cleared |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Cookie — Stripe | Strictly necessary: security and fraud prevention during online payment (set only during a booking) | Session to 1 year |
Functional storage is only used for your browsing comfort; Stripe cookies are set only if you make a payment. As these are strictly necessary or functional, no prior consent is required.
3. Audience measurement (cookieless)
We measure site traffic without any cookie and without personal data, using privacy-friendly analytics (aggregated page-view and referrer statistics, with no permanent identifier and no cross-site tracking). This is why no consent banner is required. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks, or retargeting. The map displayed on the site uses the IGN (Institut Géographique National) service, which does not place tracking cookies.
4. Managing localStorage
You can delete localStorage data at any time from your browser:
- Chrome / Edge : F12 → Application → Storage → Local Storage → Right click → Clear
- Firefox : F12 → Storage → Local Storage → Right click → Delete all
- Safari : Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
